Looks good so far! How are you attaching the hemi's to the dress? I was going to glue mine straight on but a friend suggested I use velcro as a medium so I can wash the dress without hassle.

I'm going to try attaching them with Velcro tonight and see if it works. Duct tape DID NOT haha.

I also have weldbond glue that you can borrow... You can pick it up when you're in town next or I was planning on bringing it to FanExpo as "just in case" to put towards the Dalek-fix-up station

Thanks!
So I used some Velcro to attach the hemis - see photo that i will post in a minute. I came across a couple problems as I did this. The first was one I expected - the velcro wasnt enough to keep the hemis totally down on the fabric (and i don't wanna go buy more right now...), so I'm debating glue. But now I'm thinking about washing the dress, and maybe I should just go buy more Velcro. BUT with the duct take I think it would be tough to wash anyways....so maybe I should glue? I'm so torn.
The second problem was the duct tape around my waist. I had wrapped it around when I wasn't wearing the dress, so when I went to put the dress on, I couldn't get it over my hips (or my chest from trying to put it on overhead). So I had to carefully rip off the tape and put some on while wearing it. So, no the best looking, but it works.
Opinions about the hemi adhesive?

So from far away it looks ok, but when you get closer to it the balls hang down off the dress kind of yuckily, and so I need to fix that.

The boyfriend (who is doing my head for me yay!) Just suggested trying just duct tape or double sided tape for use just to hold the hemis down. Might be perfect. Duct tape couldn't hold the weight of them, but might work for that.

Oh that is do cute!
At this point you're going to want to hand wash your dress anyway so at this point do you really want to take 40 hemis off just to wash it? Duct/double sided tape would work up support the hemis but I feel like it might be better to just glue it down?

I ended up gluing the hemis on. Worked pretty well! (Only one it the back isn't glued because it's in the way of the zipper.) Updated photos of my progress. (I was going to ask if people think with/without leggings, but I realized that in order to sit I have to lift the dress up, so I need dark leggings lol.) (Sorry about the dirty-ness of my mirror...yuck)
