I'm just using a run-of-the-mill kitchen whisk for my cosplay since I have limited time and funding to make actual screen acurate parts, however, I know for a fact that a screen acurate gun can be made easily with a glue gun, wire clothes hangers, and a plastic broom handle...

Do you have a link to that tutorial, Alissa? I was just going to use a kitchen whisk also, but if it's that easy, I might try making one.

It's from when Rob had to run a workshop on it at...heck which con was it? The little DW one in Toronto. Rob had to run to the dollar store last minute to get things to use because he didn't realize he was running the workshop. So, Dalek Auric might be able to help out with that! though it actually wasn't too hard either... I'll let Alissa do the explaining but now I actually kind of want to make one that way again.

Essentially you snip the wire hangers just past the corners so they look like giant staples, I forget how many you need... then you stick them through the plastic (and I repeat it HAS to be PLASTIC) broom handle and hit glue the seams... Auric might be able to give more detailed instructions and dimensions. I believe that's how he made his!

A friend of mine sawed the handle off of a paint roller for me to use. I just add a little dollar store silver paint. Although I also have the whisk.
